Hugo Alvén (1872 - 1960)
In 1992 we recorded Stefan
Lindgrens debut album, and also his 2nd album in 1993.
Both are discontinued since many years, but of course available as MasterCopies!
For more than 13 years, he is the orchestral pianist of the Royal Stockholm
Philharmonic Orchestra.
On this album, which is quiet unique, he plays ALL the piano pieces that the
Swedish composer Hugo Alfvén ever composed!
In many of these pieces you can hear that Hugo Alfvén was very much inspired by
the Swedish folk-music. |
